Kelburn has many unique features of natural and historical interest that are worth visiting in their own right. Besides the historic gardens and glen, there is a celebrated Sundial built in 1707 by the first Earl and a Monument erected in memory of the third Earl designed by Robert Adam.

Kelburn is also famous for it's many unusual trees and the 1000 Year Old Yews and the Weeping Larch have been recently chosen by the Forestry Commission as two of the 100 most important 'heritage' trees in Scotland.
