Kelburn Castle Tours Historic home of the Earls of Glasgow and one of Scotland's oldest stately homes. Still lived in by the tenth Earl and his family, the guided tour gives a glimpse into its eventful and colourful history. All tours must be pre-booked and last approximately 45 minutes. Tours are available at most times of the year.

Ranger Services

'Ramble with a Ranger' -We have several choices of walk which last fro approximately 40 minutes - 'Glen Explorer', 'Body Walk', 'Sensory Trail', & 'Hill Farm/Sheep Walk' (1 and a half hours, saturday only). Maximum number of people - 30 per walk

A variety of self guided trail leaflets to help groups explore the wildlife, flora and fauna and history of Kelburn are also available. Pack £2

All Ranger Services are free. Please book in advance.

Horse Riding

Both novice riders and the more experienced are welcomed. Approved by the Trekking & Riding Society of Scotland and the British Horse Society, all rides and lessons are supervised by trained staff, with riding helmets provided for all riders.

Falconry Give your group the chance of a lifetime. Visit the Kelburn Falconry Centre. We provide a quality educational experience and give you and your group the chance to interact with some of the world's top predators.
Indoor Playbarn Cost £1.50 per child. Birthday packages available. Custom built Playbarn is suitable for ages Toddler to 12 years. Two exciting slides, ball pool, climbing wall, creepy caves and castle. Toddler soft play area.

  • Kelburn's modern Pavilion provides facilities to accommodate up to 100 in its largest room or up to 50 in one of the smaller rooms

Although not a registered site, Kelburn can provide

  • Camping area close to Country Centre
  • Access to toilet block with washing facilities and drinking water
  • Special packages for groups staying longer than two nights
